Every week a few of us meet at the Nest for coffee, no structure required. You might get into what AI is actually doing to local jobs right now, or what food resilience looks like for a town like Tumba, or just share something you read that made you think. Some conversations go deep. Some stay light. All of them matter.
This is where Future Together in Tumbarumba started — around a table here, asking questions nobody had neat answers to. That spirit hasn’t changed.
Come as you are. Bring a question, a worry, or just curiosity. No prior knowledge needed, no commitment beyond showing up.

A brief update on what's changed
We start with what’s happened in AI since the last meetup — the things that matter, explained clearly. No jargon, no assumption you’re a technical person.
A focused topic or question
Each session has a theme. Past topics have included: how AI is changing knowledge work, what community resilience looks like, and how to think about AI without the hype or the doom.
Open discussion
This is the part people keep coming back for. Questions, challenges, personal experiences from different industries and countries. A real conversation, not a presentation.
